Learn how to prepare for, purchase, and schedule the Social Foundation Teacher Certification exam.

The Social Foundation Teacher Certification is designed to assess foundational teaching knowledge and concepts. To help candidates prepare, Dance Vision provides a Social Foundation Study Guide, available under Free Resources on the website.

Once you feel prepared to take the test, you will need to schedule your exam with a certified DVIDA Teacher Testing Specialist.

How to Purchase the Social Foundation Teacher Test?

To purchase the test, follow these steps:
  1. Sign in to your Dance Vision Syllabus account using the web app (via browser).
  2. Navigate to Achievements.
  3. Under Teacher Certifications, click 'Buy your test here'.
  4. Select the Social Foundation Teacher Test and complete the purchase (listed at $0.00).

Important Notes

  • An active Dance Vision Syllabus Annual Membership is required to purchase and take the Social Foundation Teacher Test.

  • The study guide is recommended preparation material and should be reviewed before scheduling the exam.

  • Once ready, candidates must contact a DVIDA Teacher Testing Specialist directly to coordinate the exam schedule.
